The "Let Windows Configure Your Wireless Network" box is unchecked on log off. I'd like to keep it on all the time.
I upgraded a Linksys router recently. Now everytime I log off, the box "Let Windows Configure Wireless Network" is unchecked. I want it to stay checked so when I log back on I don't have to go to that box and check it manually. Any idea how to keep it checked?I ran ''services.msc'' and made sure WZC(wireless zero configurtion ) the start up type was autiomatic (not on manual)Any other ideas?1 person needs an answerI do too

Does the computer have a Linksys wireless network configuration utility installed? If so, disable or un-install the utility.Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional

How would I know that? What would I look for?

Look for something that says "Linksys" or "Wireless" in the Start > All Programs menu and in Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs . Look for an icon for the program on the desktop or in the system tray.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

The only program is the Cisco Connect program which is used to manage the router. That wouldn't be the issue since it's on all the machines (and besides, it's needed for the WIFI conntection). Would it help to provide a list of the programs that are available?
